Colorectal adenocarcinoma cell line. This cell line is a well-characterized cell
line in studies of the effects of polar solvents. APC: One nucleotide deletion
at 4251. Truncated APC protein detected in the cytoplasmic skeleton that is not
recognized by antibodies against C-terminal portion. p53: C→T; Ser241→Phe.
Evidence from DNA fingerprinting indicates that this line and HCT-15 are derived
from the same individual. |
